Question 1: How you most enjoy applying your efforts...
Which of these two people is more like you?
Meet Evan:
Like most people, Evan spends his days working with others and working alone. But he feels most energized when interacting with co-workers, family and friends, and knows a lot of people by name. He likes to share his views and ask others about theirs. Evan generally prefers action over reflection, and occasionally speaks or reacts to a problem before considering the whole situation. But over time he's learned to put the brakes on whenever the urge arises to "shoot from the hip."
Meet Ian:
Ian also spends his days in a mix of work with others, and working alone. While he enjoys contact with people, he is generally more energized by ideas and tasks that need concentration and thoroughness while working alone. He places a strong emphasis on his "inner life" of thoughts and feelings. In conversation, Ian will usually choose to be reserved about "private" things, and will almost always consider the consequences of his words or actions before reacting to a situation. Through experience, Ian has learned the value of being spontaneous in communicating his thoughts and feelings -- but it doesn't always come easily.
In general, which person is more like you?
I see myself more in Evan
I see myself more in Ian
Special Note:
It is very common for people to see themselves in both of these personality profiles. If you aren't sure which one to select, choose the one that -- overall -- seems to be more true
for you.
